Food
Fat Molly’s Brownies
If you haven’t had one of these yet you really owe it to yourself to find them.
Cardamom Bakery
If you’ve ever been to the Walkabout here at the mCm Gallery then you’ve probably had one of Joanne’s red velvet cupcakes. And if you’ve ever had said cupcake you’d remember because they’re good. Damn good. Cardamom is a family business in North Park – San Diego that is. See, I do get out of my area once in a while.
Halcyon Tea
I have the honor and distinction of being the in-house photographer for Halcyon Tea. Well, not really but almost. They are our most auspicious neighbors here in South Park and what tea they have.
Jill O’connor
Some time ago I had the distinct pleasure of photographing treats made by one Jill O’Connor (buy one of her cookbooks, you won’t be sorry). Let me tell you that if there’s one thing I like better than cheese it’s bacon. But put the two together and my heart skips a beat. No really it did – not being funny either.
Eclipse Catalog Shoot
Usually I don’t eat the product after I’ve photographed it – but in this case how could I not?
Eclipse Chocolat Dinners
Every so often our friends over at Eclipse Chocolat have amazing dinners. They tend to correspond with Holidays. St Patrick’s Day, Easter, Valentine’s day Arbor Day, Bastille Day, you name it. It is some of the tastiest food I’ve ever eaten. And I get to take photos of it too. Here are a couple of my favorites.

I’ve been alive for roughly 37 years now and have been shooting things for about 30 of them. When I was about 5 years old I had a slingshot. That worked out about as well as you can imagine. I was happily targeting cans when a small bird landed near where I was aiming. Not shooting with particularly rounded rocks proved the end of the bird as the projectile veered tragically off course.
These days I have honed my accuracy and changed my weapon.
